These evenings will start with a fairy tale or two from Viktor Wynd and then Sam Lee will sing ballads and a lullaby. Sam's bedtime session will delve into the realm of ancient balladry and the British epics that tell some of the most enchanting and sometime tragic tales of human despair hope and encounters… tales of the Greenwood, the liminal lands by riverside and forest edges.. songs of wild places and Wild people of dignitaries and romance and always the lore of the land.

Folksinger, song collector, nature conservationist and presenter, Sam has spent 15 years re-galvanizing the sight, sound and ecosystem of the folk arts in the UK through his projects and live shows. With 3 critically acclaimed albums, his debut receiving a Mercury Music Prize nomination, Sam works holistically in challenging the very nature of our heritage music in the 21st Century

Viktor Wynd, proprietor of London's eponymous (nay infamous) Museum of Curiosities, Fine Art & UnNatural History has spent the last twenty five years telling stories to audiences across the globe. Fascinated by traditional fairy tales his repetoire includes tales from The Brothers Grimm, The Arabian Nights, Scandinavia, Russia, Italy, France, Irieland, Africa, Papua New Guinea & North America - so far.
