This is the story of an aircraft crash in the summer 1942 near Ross on Wye. The Handley Page Halifax took off from RAF Defford near Pershore, but it was not on a standard bombing mission. This was a final proving flight to demonstrate the efficacy of a revolutionary new radar system.

On board were eleven men, including some of Britain’s top scientists & engineers, who sadly all died. Find out who they were, the secrets of their mission, why the aircraft crashed, and how their radar helped the allies win the war.
