Victorian chair maker, Philip Clissett, brought the iconic Ladderback Chair to the attention of the Cotswold Arts & Crafts Movement. An example of the famous chair stands proudly in the home of Emery Walker at 7 Hammersmith Terrace. But could it have been made by a ‘bodger’? Volunteer-cum-iconoclast Gavin Shreeve investigates.

This is a live talk on Zoom. Once you have booked your ticket, you will be sent the joining instructions.

Entry to this talk is by donation. Your support of the Emery Walker Trust is greatly appreciated during these difficult times.
