The tomb of The Unknown Warrior in Westminster Abbey holds an unidentified British soldier killed on a European battlefield during the First World War.

Every year on 10 November around 8.15 pm there is a wreath laying Remembrance Service held at Victoria Station between platforms 8 and 9 to mark the arrival of the coffin carrying the unknown warrior when it arrived at platform 8 at 8.32 pm that evening and remained overnight before being taken to Westminster Abbey.

Assemble at Platform 8 Victoria Station for a service at 8:00pm.
