After six months of closure volunteers at Markfield Beam Engine Museum are delighted to welcome back visitors this September.
Find out how this masterpiece of Victorian engineering saved lives in Tottenham.
Explore the wider site with its extensive remains of the vital sewage treatment works, now a public park.
We have children’s activity sheets on hand to help you make the most of your visit.
Markfield Park Café is also open serving, hot food, ice creams and snacks.
To help us keep people safe at Markfield we have extra measures in place.
At the museum we are:
Collecting contact details For NHS Test & Trace
Asking all visitors to wear a mask
Maintaining 2m social distancing
Providing hand sanitiser
Signposting a one-way route around the museum
Limiting numbers in the museum
Carrying out extra cleaning throughout the day
