A London Property Alliance (CPA & WPA) webinar with the leaders of the City of London Corporation and Westminster City Council on the rebuilding of their key business districts post-Covid-19.
The panel will discuss the implications of the pandemic on the Capital’s economy and the housing, workspace and transport needs of workers, residents and visitors. Combined the two areas generate £124billion in GVA, accounting for more than 30% of London’s economy.
Central London has borne the brunt of the crisis as nearly a million workers in the City and West End have stayed at home, leaving swathes of retail, leisure and culture facing a very uncertain future. According to Arup, for every 100 office-based workers in Central London up to 18 jobs in retail, hospitality and leisure are sustained.
This live digital event on 16 September will explore how the two districts have responded to the crisis and discuss how, looking to the future, the public and private sectors will need to work even closer together to rebuild Central London.
