What role will science and technology play in sex, fertility and reproduction in the future? Find out in a thought-provoking virtual event hosted in partnership with Pride in London.

Technology has no doubt changed the face of modern dating and romantic relationships, even more so during the coronavirus pandemic.

We’ve assembled a panel of experts to discuss how robotics, virtual reality, machine learning and the web might play an even greater part in our sex lives in the future.

The topics of reproduction and fertility and how new and evolving treatments may change our relationship with sex and reproduction forever will also be explored, .with the opportunity to present your own questions to the panel.

The speakers at this event are:

Dr Alfredo Carpineti (chair)—Science journalist, astrophysicist, and the chair of Pride in STEM.

Dr Trudy Barber—University of Portsmouth Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, creator of one of the first sex-themed VR environments, cybersex lecturer, broadcaster and author.
