This talk will consider the impacts and potential benefits of university development on the re-shaping of the physical and social landscapes of cities. It will introduce research by UCL Urban Laboratory as the context for discussion of UCL¹s future presence in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and the scope for its positive contribution to the creation of new spaces and opportunities in east London.
