Gina Miller: A Lifetime of Fighting Injustice

The woman who took on the UK government and won – twice. First regarding the triggering of Article 50 and secondly when the Supreme Court ruled that the decision to suspend Parliament was unlawful.

In her memoir, Rise, Gina Miller gives an extraordinary account of what it means to stand up for justice, and for yourself, no matter the cost.

Hear her in conversation with journalist Philippa Thomas as she reflects on speaking out and showing that one person can most definitely make a difference.

Philippa Thomas is a news presenter at the BBC’s headquarters in London, where she anchors daily news programmes for BBC World TV. More recently, Philippa led the World Service radio's special coverage of UK election results in 2015, 2017, and 2019.
