Morris men are inviting everyone to an ancient midwinter play during their Boxing Day tour of Ewell Village.

Ewell St Mary’s Morris Men will once again process through the village and dance on Boxing Day.

They men will also perform a traditional midwinter folk play, known as a mummers' play, across the road from the Wheatsheaf pub.

The agenda:

11 am Priory Court

12 noon – The Famous Green Man

12:30pm – opposite The Star

1 pm – The Watch House, Church Street

1:30pm – The Spring Tavern

2pm – The Wheatsheaf, followed by the traditional mid-winter mummers’ play in the yard of the Upper Mill.
