The Brighton Main Line (BML), connects Brighton to Victoria and London Bridge and is one of the most congested routes on the railway network with an intense service which is subject to adverse publicity in the event of disruption. The signalling on the Brighton Mainline was commissioned in the 80s with the northern section (Victoria signalling centre) between 1982-84 and the southern section (Three Bridges ASC) between 1984-86.
Paul Percival ( Asset Manager -Signalling) and Anil Rana ( Programme Engineering manager) will talk through what has been completed or underway since then on BML and challenges so far.
