A spendthrift, a strong woman, a novel means of maximising your income and a skilful surveyor: Peter Barber will explain the evolution of estate mapping and suggests why - and how - the 1619 Tottenham map came to be created 400 years ago and its intended purposes.

This talk by specialist map historian Peter Barber accompanies our current exhibition 'The Land Beneath Our Feet'.

Doors open 6.30pm. Refreshments available, and a chance to explore the 1619 map exhibition.
