Plenty of drawing materials will be on offer for you to experiment with and creative guidance on hand if needed. All abilities are welcome!
Courtyard Garden in Autumn

Decorative Jack-o’-lanterns in the Kitchen Studio

Make a miniature decorative Jack-O’-Lantern in time for Halloween. Will you go traditionally spooky or Pinterest worthy ornamental? Chef Ceri Jones will be on hand to help you find your inner pumpkin-sculpting Picasso. Take home your creation and wow everyone with your newly discovered talents.
Lambeth Wilds by Katie Spragg

Be the first to see large-scale ceramic installation Lambeth Wilds, by artist Katie Spragg at the Garden Museum. Her largest piece to date, Lambeth Wilds was developed and conceived through an Arts Council funded research residency at the Garden Museum. Spragg’s installation is also the culmination of workshops and a long-term project with community group Lambeth Young Carers.

Taking wild, opportunistic plants and the way they may be overlooked or hidden as its theme, this project aspires to celebrate and make visible these plants and communities local to the museum that may also be overlooked or hidden within our wider society.

Lambeth Wilds will be on view above the Magazine gallery permanently, and other works by Spragg will be on display for the evening.
Last chance to see What to look for in the Garden: A Ladybird Books Exhibition

On loan from Penguin Random House, original artworks are on display from beloved and sentimental world of the Ladybird Books. From children picking fruit and flowers, to colourful depictions of wildflowers and wildlife, this heart-warming collection of illustrations transport you back to the innocence and joy of playing in nature as a child.
