Join us as we celebrate science fact and science fiction at Lates.

For years, scientists have been fascinated with discovering more about the vast universe we live in, and science fiction has been there to fill in the blanks and capture people's imagination.

Doctor Who, the longest-running science fiction television series, has been building adventure around space, aliens and time travel since 1963. Find out about the real-world science that inspires the creators of stories like those seen in Doctor Who.

Meet Museum scientists to discover how we are expanding our horizons of what we know about our solar system, and talk with BBC producers to learn how science fiction can sometimes be grounded in science fact.
