Join us for this special event to mark the closure of the Epping to Ongar line by London Underground 25 years ago, on 30 September 1994.

Steam hauled services between North Weald and Ongar with Metropolitan Railway number 1

Guest class 42 warship locomotive D821 "Greyhound" also working trains

Brakevan rides into Epping Forest, possibly with a surprise visiting locomotive, steam locomotive "Isabel" or diesel locomotive 03170

Special bus services

Tours of our 1959 stock tube carriage

Lunchtime dining trains on all 3 days

Special exhibition in the Penny Salon Gallery at Ongar

There will be a frequent train service, and the opportunity to walk to the very end of our line.

Our route 339 heritage bus service will also be running, connecting with Epping Underground station (Central Line, zone 6) and Shenfield station.
