Join Museum of London Curator Hazel Forsyth for this panel discussion exploring the history of London's animals.

Zooarchaeologist Alan Pipe will introduce the animals of prehistoric London – before there was a London – from the end of the Ice Age to the beginnings of Roman Londinium.

Historic Royal Palaces Curator Sally Dixon-Smith will reveal the secrets of the medieval menagerie at the Tower of London, and the introduction to exotic animals on our shores.

Finally, author Tom Almeroth-Williams will explore Georgian London, right up to the industrial revolution, and the untold stories of the working animals that helped make London the world's first industrial metropolis.

Tom will also be launching his book, City of Beasts, and there will be a book signing after the talk. After booking, you will also have the option to book your tickets for Beasts of London at a special discounted price.
