The Plumstead Make Merry is the longest-running community festival in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
Contrary to popular belief, the festival is not run by the council, and the council do not fund the infrastructure of the event. It is run entirely by volunteers who are passionate about the local area, and funded through the generosity our supporters and dedicated fundraising efforts.
Each year, over 5,000 people come along to enjoy a packed day of music, arts and activities that celebrate the history of the area and its diverse community. With up to 80 different stalls from local groups and businesses, there is plenty on offer including food and activities for all the family.
