Soak in the atmosphere and chat to the experts when 55 plus top midcentury dealers head to celebrated interiors show, Midcentury East selling a range of furniture, ceramics, glassware, wooden, metal smalls, vintage travel and film posters, original artwork, Danish silver jewellery, lighting, fabrics, industrial and rare Berber rugs as used by Aalto and Eames at this much-loved show spread throughout Haggerston School, the Brutalist building designed by Erno Goldfinger in the Sixties.

Goldfinger was the architect James Bond writer Ian Fleming based his tallest baddie on after they fell out as neighbours in Hampstead.

If Eames, Jacobsen, Nelson, Bertoia, Wegner, Charley Harper and the Days inspire you then it is definitely the place to be. Fabulous new dealers will be on hand including Projekt 26 with some of the most iconic and sought after work from The School of Polish Posters as well as the diehards including industrial expert Saxon of Metro Retro who is just back from supplying props including polished steel filing cabinets for the latest Guy Ritchie film BUSH with an all star cast including Matthew McConaughey, Colin Farrell, Hugh Grant, Henry Golding and Michelle Dockery.

Book into our terrarium workshop if you fancy making a day of it and create your own masterpiece to take home later with all materials provided.
