This talk will explore how Britain's Political Warfare Executive was able to instigate despair, anxiety, dissent and active resistance in Europe during the Second World War by spreading propaganda and rumour.
Jo Fox is Director of the Institute of Historical Research and Professor of Modern History, School of Advanced Study.
