Writer, broadcaster, and children’s books expert Julia Eccleshare sneaks into the pantry to taste the edible (and inedible) food found in children’s literature, past and present and consider the role food plays in our literary childhood imaginations. Featuring award-winning children's writer Katherine Rundell. 

Katherine Rundell is the author of seven books for children, and a fellow of All Souls College, Oxford, where she researches Renaissance literature, particularly John Donne’s satires. Her most recent novel, The Explorer, won the Costa Children’s Book Award. Food Season supported by KitchenAid
