Join the Institute of Making to celebrate materials and making, as it hosts a one-day, large-scale, drop-in and totally free festival around materials, sensory preference and emotion.
London's most engaging lab will be putting on wealth of making activities to both give you the creeps and seduce your senses – can you dissect your reactions and analyse your sensitivities to material taboos and gratifications? The event will take over Malet Place and fill it to the brim with delectable making madness, including mind-boggling demonstrations, exciting making stations and improbable food stalls.
As always, the Institute's Makespace will be open to the public, giving visitors the opportunity to have a glimpse of the Materials Library and it's wondrous collection of stuff.
