The Bartlett International Lecture Series Spring 2019 - Archigram

  6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Michael Webb, Founding Member, Archigram, is an English architect and a founding member of Archigram, the 1960’s avant-garde neo-futurist architecture group. Some of their first projects included the famous Walking City, Plug-in City and Instant City, which proposed the use of pods, capsules, megastructures, inflatable or temporary components and other inventive uses of new technologies to rethink society and its forms of habitation. Michael teaches regularly at Cooper Union in New York and continues to work on his seminal designs for projects such as Sin City and Temple Island

The Bartlett School of Architecture's International Lecture Series (ILS) welcomes experts, visionaries and skilled professionals from across the world to share ideas and give invaluable insight.

All lectures will begin at 18:30 in The Christopher Ingold Auditorium, UCL, via 22 Gordon Street. Lectures are open to all and seats are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Cost: Free of Charge
