Discover how women have helped shape the British Army with a day of performances, music and talks.
As part of Women’s History Month, join us for a day of activities looking at the life of women in the Army at different points in time.
Hear first-hand accounts from current and former female soldiers as they share their personal experiences of the British Army.
Listen to performances from the Military Wives Choirs, made up of women in the military community who join together to sing, share and support one another.
Step back in time
Hear the story of Mother Ross, who disguised herself as a man to enlist in the Army in the 17th century. Join her on an adventure to find her husband in this family-friendly performance.
Then, learn what life was like for women in the Army during the Second World War by putting your questions to a soldier of the Auxiliary Territorial Service.
