Much of the current geo-political climate and (dis)order, especially in the Middle East, connects back to the events around 9/11 and its aftermath, including the USA and UK’s decision to invade Iraq. This documentary allows for Acrassicauda, the first Iraqi heavy metal band, to tell that story through the lens of everyday citizens.

The documentary screening will be followed by a Q&A with the band leader, Marwan Jassam.

Marwan Jassam is the leader of Acrassicauda.

Claudine Provencher is Head of LSE Life.
