From stoned sloths to farting fish: comical tales from the animal kingdom

  6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us for an evening of some of the weirdest and wildest stories from the animal kingdom. From mating rituals to eating habits, animals do some pretty strange things.

Hear from some of the UKs most prominent, and irreverent, zoologists and authors about their favourite animal facts, and have the record set straight on some popular animal myths. At this event Lucy Cooke, broadcaster and author of The Unexpected Truth about Animals; Dani Rabaiotti, author of Does it Fart? The definitive field guide to animal flatulence; Darren Naish, author and host of the Tetrapod Zoology podcast; and Jules Howard, author of Sex on Earth and Death on Earth; will talk us through some of the strangest and most entertaining animal facts they have come across in their careers.

After the talks there will be a Q&A with the speakers followed by a book signing. If you wish to purchase any books please bring cash.

Cost: £5
