An evening of three talks about Stoke Newington's history from different perspectives organsied by Amir Dotan www.StokeNewingtonHistory.com.
Each talk, lasting 25 minutes, will be illustrated by a mixture of archival and contemporary images, showing the area through the respective lenses of local historians, researchers, writers, photographers and others with interest in aspects of Stoke Newington's colourful past.
Tickets £5. All proceeds go to the Hackney Winter Night Shelter charity.
Doors open at 19:00. Talks begin at 20:00. Each 25min talk is followed by a 10min break, with a Questions and Answers panel at the end.
