Writer, broadcaster and editor, Ian Hislop, joins celebrated comedy writer and producer, Armando Iannucci, to discuss the changing role of satire and subversion in a post-truth world.

Ian Hislop is editor of Private Eye, and known to millions of fans as team captain of Have I Got News For You. Now, Ian joins the British Museum as guest curator of the Citi exhibition I object: Ian Hislop's search for dissent.

Armando Iannucci is acclaimed as one of the most influential comedy writers, directors and producers in Britain. He wrote and directed the BAFTA-winning shows I’m Alan Partridge and The Thick Of It, as well as fronting his own satirical shows The Friday Night Armistice for BBC 2, and The Armando Iannucci Shows for Channel 4.
