Look out for black boats speeding along the Thames firing guns at each other for a couple of days.
It’s part of a military exercise that tests their response to, well, whatever it is that they need to prepare for.
The event will involve the Royal Marines, who will be conducting the military exercises in the Upper Pool on 23rd October from 10:10am to 10:20am and 24th October from 10:50am to 11am, between HMS President and
HMS Belfast.
On the days, four RIBs will be navigating at speed around this part of the Thames, with the Royal Marines firing blank rounds (no bullets) at each other, or a suitable evil target.
Something to watch from the sidelines if you are in the area.
