William Harvey Day

William Harvey Day showcases some of the foremost cutting edge research currently undertaken at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary and our partner NHS Trusts. There will be presentations from students and staff and three guest lectures. An extensive poster exhibition also presents the opportunity to experience the breadth and variety of scholarship which takes place within the School

Three keynote lectures will take place throughout the day by distinguished external specialists.

Please arrive to register for the conference at the entrance of the Robin Brooke Centre. All the lectures and presentations will take place in the Morris Lecture Theatre in the Robin Brook Centre. The poster displays, lunch, coffee and tea will be held in the Great Hall of St Bartholomew’s Hospital and the Pathology Museum. Further details of the schedule for the day will be released in due course.
The day will begin with a welcome from Professor Steve Thornton, Vice-Principal (Health), at 9:00am in the Morris Lecture Theatre in the Robin Brook Centre. It will conclude with the traditional annual St Luke’s-tide Service in the church of St Bartholomew the Great. All attendees are warmly invited to attend the service as guests at this event. QMUL staff are welcome to join the procession element of the Service: if you are a staff member and would like to process, please request an academic gown as part of your booking.
