A screening of the film Steamboy directed by Japanese manga artist, screenwriter and director, Katsuhiro Ôtomo.

In 1860s Britain, a boy inventor finds himself caught in the middle of a deadly conflict over a revolutionary advance in steam power.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with IFAC Handa Curator of Japanese Arts, Nicole Rousmaniere, and film journalist, Steve Rose.
