What's in a weed?

One person’s “wild flower” is another person’s “weed”. A weed is “a plant in the wrong place” for someone.
Plants often called weeds have characteristics which enable them to take advantage of human activity, and to thrive despite persistent attempts to control them. Many “weeds” have moved around the world and often become seriously problematic, even where they were not so, in their native area.
Join Terry, botanist, to learn a little more about “weeds” in and around the Park, the secrets of their success, their global travels, their uses and their folklore.
