Dragon Boat Racing on Thursday 26th July from 5 – 9PM at Merchant Square.

The Dragon Boat Race has been happening on the Paddington Basin canal for over 10 years. Every year people from all over the Paddington area come together for a friendly competition to raise essential funds for a local cause.

COSMIC (Children of St. Mary’s Intensive Care), supports the Children’s Intensive Care Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington by helping pateints and their familes, and enabling the deciated team to treat hundreds of critically ill children from all over London and the South East each year.

Before the Dragon Boat Race, there will be the annual Duck Race where 500 will travel down Paddington Basin towards the finish line near the M&S cafe. The Duck race will commence between 12-1PM and is free for everyone to spectate.
