Much of London's history is enshrined in books and journals; words and pictures. But maps can tell a story in a uniquely powerful and succinct way. In this wide-ranging talk, Matt Brown will share his love of maps, and particularly how they can be used to illuminate London's history and culture --from a retrospective map of Anglo-Saxon London, to a digital chart of wartime rocket strikes, to a map of a London that never got built.
Includes wine reception.
Refunds will only be given if places are cancelled more than 48hours prior to an event (minus the booking fee) or if an event is cancelled by GHL.
