An elite team of soldiers face off against an invisible alien foe. Can they win against the odds?

Enjoy screenings of vintage, cult and blockbuster sci-fi movies in our planetarium, followed by a short talk on the science behind the fiction by a Royal Observatory astronomer. Major 'Dutch' Schaefer (Arnold Schwarzenegger) finds himself and his team in over their heads when they start to get picked off one by one by an invisible enemy not of this planet. After the screening a Royal Observatory Greenwich astronomer will explore the science behind making things invisible and how the Predator's thermal vision has all sorts of less horrifying uses in everyday life and astronomy.

This event is part of the Royal Observatory Greenwich's 'Universe Unseen' season (April - September 2018).
