Join local bee recorder Mark Patterson and learn about the summer seasonal bees which make the cemetery park their home, how to identify bees in the field for beginners and how to submit your sightings to contribute to scientific understanding of bees in London.
Mark grew up in the Northeast and took an interest in nature and the environment from a young age. After studying ecology at University Mark has had a career spanning 17 years working for wildlife charities, local and national government and now works as a part time bee inspector for DEFRA whilst running his own business Apicultural.
Mark is a trustee for the London Beekeepers Association, sits on the British Beekeepers Association special interest group on forage and leads on planting initiatives for pollinators in London.
