Philip, whose books were the inspiration for Restoration, a BBC major series, has written extensively about British and International architecture and now in his latest book Phantom Architecture he looks at some of the most fantastical and futurist buildings of their time and considers the reasons they were not built; funding, lack of vision and fear denied us these incredible buildings, but here they live again.
