ADVANCED AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS
Whilst Automotive OEM's are investing significantly into Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communcations, local government and other owners of transport networks face very different funding environments, resulting in comaprable Vehicle-to-Infastructure (V2I) and Vehicle-to-Anything (V2X) technologies receiving just a fraction of the amount in financing.
What will be the dominant technologies in Advanced Autonomous Systems, what are the most significant challenges that need to be overcome, where do investors see the most vauable business models being created and how do policy and technology leaders work together to develop such critical infrastructure?
These are just some of the points we will explore with John Taysom and Paul Copping at the first London Intelligent Mobility Meetup event, as we discuss the future of Advanced Autonomous Systems and to what extent the full benefits of Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAV) can be realised through smart communications and infrastructure technologies.
