To celebrate ‘Museums at Night’ Sir John Soane’s Museum is opening late, lighting the candles and giving guests access to some of ‘Soane’s Secrets’.

For one evening we will be opening doors that usually remain closed, laying out books that are ordinarily filed away and delving into our archive to show off some unusual and historic gems.

Amongst the secrets shared will be letters between Soane and J W Turner, a key from the 17th century to a famous London palace, some of Soane’s original sketchbooks and inventories, a ticket to Lord Nelson’s funeral, little known drawings and lots more.

There will be two one-and-a-half-hour sessions starting at 6.00pm and 7.30pm , spaces are limited and tickets priced at £15.00 each
