London Craft Week - Slipper Embroidery

4:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Embroiderers, Hand & Lock demonstrate the techniques used to create the ornate motifs and monograms seen on Edward Green’s customisable slippers.

Since their founding in 1767, Hand & Lock has become the embroiderer of choice for royalty, the armed forces and Savile Row.

Their work on Edward Green’s slippers ranges from crests and personalised monograms to fully bespoke designs. The Northampton shoe-maker continues to make shoes with an unusual degree of handwork, ensuring shoes of unparalleled character and refinement.
