Dr Amanda Kennell of the Sainsbury Institute for the study of Japanese Arts and Future at UEA will explore Japanese adaptations of Lewis Carroll's Alice books from the beautifully illustrated work of artist Kusama Yahoo through contemporary adaptations in a variety of media including comics, film, animation and clothing.
