The Introduction of the Elizabeth line - Transforming Travel in London by Stevyn Walder

Stevyn works for the TOC MTR Crossrail which operates the Concession to run the current TfL Rail service between Liverpool Street and Shenfield on behalf of Rail for London, which will eventually expand to operate the entire Elizabeth line service.

As the Stage 3 Delivery Manager, Stevyn is responsible for leading the delivery of MTR Crossrail’s Staged Opening Plan, taking single point of accountability for ensuring all aspects of the plan are delivered to time, cost and quality. The presentation will give an overview of the Elizabeth line project, and outline the key stakeholders involved, the funding streams and notable constructions activities.

The large scale nature of the project requires a Staged Opening Plan, each stage of which will be detailed including the levels of service anticipated and the progress being made with the preparations.
