Taking Shelter

​This talk explores the ways in which Londoners took shelter from air raids during WWII. Anderson, Morrison, Stanton and communal street shelters were used alongside the Underground, basements, underpasses and tunnels. Discover more about the LMA building’s role as an air raid shelter throughout the war years.
