Human Pluripotent Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine: The Here and Now and Future of our Field.
This meeting intends to review the progress that has been made in the field of hPSC Regenerative Medicine at the end of the first UK Regenerative Medicine Platform (UKRMP) funding cycle and looks to discuss the remaining and future challenges, which are being assessed as part of UKRMP#2. Co-hosted between the UKRMP PSCP Hub and by scientists at the Crick Institute, we are holding a 1-day open scientific meeting. International speakers including Professors Kevin Eggan (Harvard University), Christine Mummery (Leiden University), Peter Andrews (University of Sheffield), Austin Smith (University of Cambridge) and Surgeon Captain Professor Rory Rickard (MOD) are amongst the confirmed speakers. The intention is to review the position of hPSC regenerative medicine currently and to discuss the remaining challenges and needs for the imminent and longer-term future of the field.
