Charity Screening of The Director: A Film About Homelessness

This event has finished Took place on: Thursday, 8th Feb 2018

An Exclusive *Private* Screening of Shout Out UK's short film The Director, a comedy about homelessness, at the Close-Up Film Centre in Shoreditch on Thursday the 8th of February from 6pm-7pm with members of the cast, crew and guests.
The screening will act as a fundraiser for St John's Soup Kitchen in Ealing - one of the primary locations used during the film.

Andrew Mcleay, a volunteer at St John's, will introduce the film as well as talk about his own experiences in dealing with the homelessness crisis.

The Director is a dark, social comedy which revolves around a 'serious' filmmaker’s desperate attempts to make a 'serious' documentary on homelessness.

The 18-minute film will be screened along with a Q&A afterwards from writer-director Patrick Ireland and producer Matteo Bergamini. Afterwards, there will be a small drink's reception in the cinema bar.

Cost: Free of Charge
