We are very excited to launch a brand new series of evening talks at the Grade II listed Coal House at Woodberry Wetlands.
Each month, Trust experts will discuss different topics, from orchids and hedgehogs to the history of London Wildlife Trust and the importance of protecting the green spaces in London.
On Thursday 1st February, we welcome ecologist Michael Waller, who will be discussing the 19 different orchid species that can be found around the capital. Michael will also talk about his co-founded project, 'The Ghost Orchid Project', which is a research initiave seeking to locate the extremely rare ghost orchid in British woods.
We will also be joined by project officer and hedgehog expert Emma Pooley. Emma will be sharing her knowledge of London's 'hogs and explaining how anyone can help the Trust in our bid to track, and ultimately save, the capital's hedgehogs.
We will have a Q&A session at the end of each session, giving you a chance to have your questions answered by our experts. There will also be a cash bar open throughout the event.
All profits from events at Woodberry Wetlands support our wildlife conservation work and free public access at the Wetlands.
