Sci Fi Sessions: The Fantasy Edition with Lucy Hounsom, Vic James and Anna Smith Spark

This event has finished Took place on: Monday, 15th Jan 2018

Gower Street Sci Fi Sessions return for 2018 with a special three author event showcasing British fantasy talent.

Lucy Hounsom has recently completed her acclaimed Worldmaker series (Starborn, Heartland, Firestorm) and will be with us to reflect on completing a trilogy. She'll be joined by Vic James, author of the Dark Gifts series, the first book in which (Gilded Cage) was featured on the Radio 2 book club last year. Rounding out the group will be Anna Smith Spark discussing her exciting debut epic fantasy The Court of Broken Knives.

So join us for what will surely be a fascinating discussion talking about the possibilities (and limits) of fantasy fiction, the allure of the sub-genre, the difficulties of convincing world building, and much more besides.

All tickets include a glass of wine and a 15% discount on any event titles purchased.

Cost: £6
