Last tours of Hornsey Town Hall

This event has finished Took place on: Sunday, 22nd Oct 2017

Hornsey Town Hall will be closing for redevelopment at the end of 2017 and this is the last chance to learn about one of London's modernist masterpieces.

Built by Reginald Uren in 1935, it is part of a unique civic square, with gas and electricity showrooms. Gradually abandoned by the successor council, Haringey, the Town Hall retains remarkable internal features, such as original clocks, window fittings, tiles.

The Assembly Hall was a major music venue, where the Kinks and Freddy Mercury played.

See it now before its redevelopment.

Cost: £7
