Art of Roman Wine Making at London’s Roman Amphitheatre

Drink like a Roman at this tasting event exploring the history of Roman wines. Focussing only on the white wines of the period the evening will uncover how the whites were the drink of the rich, and red reserved for the poor.

Participants will sample a variety of whites and receive expert guidance from Neil McKenzie of Ellis of Richmond, and learn about the history of Roman wine. The evening also features a tour and talk on London’s Roman Amphitheatre.
