Find out about the transformation of the Walthamstow reservoirs into one of the largest urban, wetland nature reserves in Europe.
Join us for a free, leisurely two hour guided walk that will detail the progress of the reservoirs’ transformation. We will learn about the heritage and wildlife of the site and how the reservoirs are being turned into nature reserves, which are set to open in 2017.
As the site is still in development, we regret no children are allowed on site at present and this event is for adults only. No dogs allowed except guide dogs and assistance dogs.Â
We will meet at the Ferry Lane entrance to the reservoirs opposite the Ferry Boat Inn, outside the Thames Water Rangers' office.
