Thames Path Extension Thames Barrier to Crayford Marshes

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Thames Path National Trail, a series of walks have been organised by The Ramblers along the entire length of the Thames Path National Trail. All walks are FREE. This walk along the Thames Path extension is 11.25 miles long. The walkers will meet by The Thames Barrier and  finish at Slade Green rail Station (Crayford Marshes). 

Dress accordingly to the weather and conditions on the ground. Transport to and from each walk will be the responsibility of the individual walker. Walkers are asked to bring their own refreshments for the walk. The lead Rambler will issue a series of instructions at the beginning of the walk. All Sporting and leisure activities have inherent hazards associated with them and rambling is no exception. In spite of the safety of walkers always being the paramount concern, accidents will occasionally occur. It is important, therefore that when entering into the activity, each walker appreciates that they have a responsibility to identify the hazards associated with the activity and take all reasonable steps to eliminate or minimise the potential for an accident to arise.

All walkers are responsible for their own safety and should carry a first aid kit.

Due to the numbers of walkers, we regret that we cannot accept walkers with dogs along this section. Children under 18 must be accompanied by their parent or guardian. Please note finishing times will vary according to walking speeds. Walks will be at a moderate pace. Please ensure that you are capable of walking the distance of the walk (11.25 miles).
